DJing & 'MODERN LOVE' NIGHT CLUB

In 2007, Sophie revealed that she would like to DJ someday and open a gay club. She made her debut as a DJ in September 7, 2007, DJing at 'Dangerous To Know' in Soho. Meanwhile, Sophie kept DJing and was joined by her husband Richard Jones. They would play together under the name of Mr & Mrs Jones, which later changed to Me & Mrs Jones. 2008 saw mostly of Sophie and Richard DJing together, and in the beginning of July, Richard said they were putting together the final details (to open the night club) and they released their first remix for Turn It Up that month too.

Modern Love - Songs for Lovers not Fighters was launched on July 31st at Soho Revue Bar. Then in January 2009, they announced they would be playing at Soho on every 1st Thursday of the month. However, Soho Revue Bar was forced to close down on January 29. Modern Love is teaming up with Circus.

WRITING

After theaudience split, Sophie started writing a book to "keep her mind active and do something flesh to inject blood in her veins". The book was about being young, when you first leave school and do your A-levels. The book was based on some of Sophie's girl friends.

However, she just wrote about three chapters and that was as far as she could go. Sophie herself said it was 'awful':
"It's a lot harder to write a book than I thought it would be. You have to have a look inside you trying to get out; you can't just think: 'Oh I'm a bit bored, I'll write a book'. It was about growing up in London and wanting to be in a band.

She said that the chapters are somewhere however, she'll stick to writing lyrics for a while longer.
