I was born and bred in Sao Paulo, but I'm currently living in a small city near Sao Paulo where I study biology at university. I love learning new languages, watching films, listening to music and watching volleyball. I also enjoy spending some time by myself as well as spending time with my family and friends. And because of Sophie I became addicted to two things: shopping and make-up! *kidding*

I have been a fan of Sophie since I saw the video for Get Over You. I remembered then that I had seen her on Peta's campaign and on a Brazilian TV show, in which she sang Murder On The Dancefloor. After that, I decided to purchase Read My Lips and I remember listening to it three times in a row! I've been a massive fan ever since.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor is such a talented and charismatic singer. While making the site, I've learned that she's such a sweet, funny and hard-working person that's impossible not to love her. I love the sincere and witty that she brings in her interviews. I also think she's such classy, intelligent, smart, funny, beautiful and down-to-earth woman and I absolutely love her fashion style (she's the real Posh, isn't she?).

Favourite singers/bands: Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Dido, Feist, Keane, Kylie Minogue and Imogen Heap.
Interests: Computing and languages.
Favorite Sophie songs: It's hard to choose some because I love lots of them. It's depends on my mood, for instance, some days I'm into Catch You, others, into Nowhere Without You... it depends a lot, I think most of her songs have something special which I like.

Currently, I'm studying computer science, I like learning new cultures through online friendships. I think internet it's a great way to meet more about the world without leaving home! So, if anyone would like to have me as a friend, it's just to email me and we can exchange ideas.

But for now, I'm just capable of communicating in English and French. I also like surfing the web, swimming (I haven't done it for ages), going out with friends, talking etc.

I already knew Sophie's voice before the release of her debut album, Read My Lips, because of her collaboration with DJ Spiller in the song Groovejet (If This Ain't Love). However, I didn't know her name. So, I can say that I met her only in 2002, with her hit Murder On The Dancefloor and later Take Me Home, which also got airplay here, but that was it.

I remember she came to Brazil, on a TV show called Hebe (I think I was studying with the TV on and didn't pay much attention). But I just became a fan of hers in 2004. It all happened in the end of 2003, when I saw Mixed Up World video on TVZ. I downloaded the song and liked it a lot. After that, I wondered: "who's this Sophie Ellis-Bextor? What's her music like?". So I started searching on the web and little by little I've found out about her wonderful work and the wondeful person Sophie is.
